let me introduce myself. My name is David Karakevas and I am the author of the book Interactive WORLD. I would like to share with you the story behind its creation. I come from Greece, but I live in the Czech Republic. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the world, its diversity, and its cultures. My interest in geography, history and education led me to the idea of ​​combining these fields into a unique book that would allow children and adults around the world to explore our planet in a whole new way.

During my travels, visiting different countries and learning about their cultures, I realized the importance of education – and looked for ways to make it fun and attractive at the same time. With this knowledge, I began to think about a book that would not only educate, but also inspire young readers to explore the world and stimulate their curiosity and thirst for knowledge. The result of this idea is Interactive WORLD – a book that is not only a learning tool, but also an adventure.

The book is unique in that it combines printed text and digital content, making readers active participants in their learning process. Every single page of the book is interwoven with interactive elements that allow readers to explore different countries and cultures through QR codes. It allows them to listen to national anthems, view national flags and emblems from all over the world, and learn fascinating facts about the geography, history, and traditions of individual countries.

In today’s world, with many different tools and methods at our disposal, it is crucial to find a balance between effective learning and fun that encourages creativity and imagination – key elements for shaping personality and developing thinking. However, I am also aware of how important it is not only for parents, but also for teachers, to find quality educational tools that are also engaging for children. Interactive WORLD has become an invaluable tool for parents and educators who are looking for interesting ways to enrich their children, pupils and students with new knowledge. I would like the book to become part of the educational process and help children better understand the world around them. I believe that education should be fun, inspiring and easily accessible.

My goal is for the Interactive WORLD to reach readers on an international level. The book has already been translated into several languages ​​and the overall plan includes up to 20 language versions. I cooperate with many schools and educational institutions, where I visit children and introduce this book to them. It is extremely inspiring to see their enthusiasm and joy in discovering new information about the world and their thirst for knowledge – which fulfills and motivates me to continue.

My vision is to inspire readers to discover a world full of fascinating stories just waiting to be discovered. I am convinced that Interactive WORLD can also play an important role as a teaching aid and become a valuable companion not only for children, but also for parents and educators. I look forward to the opportunity to join you on a journey of discovery and education that will bring us all together.
